DESCRIPTION:Please join the Council for Working Women for our October Luncheon\n\n hosted at Al's Steak House\n\nOctober 7th\, 2021\n\n11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m.\n\nThis month's topic will be: : Pink Heals...Leading with Love\, Hope and Support for our Community\n\nSpeaker: Angie Caldwell\, President of Pink Heals Joliet Area Chapter\, Director of Home Visits and Annual Mother's Day Walk.\n\nAngie will share stories\, how we can help someone we know battling an illness and what Pink Heals does.\n\n\n\nBio of our speaker\n\nMarried to Casey: Lockport Firefighter and owner/operator of CAMZ Communications\, Inc) with 3 sons Matt\, Zach and Alec\, lifelong Shorewood\, Minooka and Channahon resident. \n\nGraduate of Minooka High School and Eastern Illinois University. Working in Higher Education for almost 25 years. Currently at Lewis University in Admission. \n\n2014 Channahon Citizen of the Year \n\nThree Rivers Fest at Large Committee Member 2020-present \n\nTaught Religious Education at St Ann in Channahon for 16 years. \n\nPresident of Pink Heals Joliet Area Chapter\, Director of Home Visits and Annual Mother's Day Walk.\n\n \n\nPink Heals Joliet Area Chapter | Pink Heals Joliet Area Chapter\n\n\n\n*This quarter we are giving back to Cornerstone Services. The agency assists over 1\,200 people in Will and Kankakee Counties\, with a focus on four service areas: residential\, employment\, behavioral health\, and community day programs. Cornerstone staff help people find stability with a safe home\, earn a paycheck with a new job\, receive the therapy and medical services they need\, or get active with many unique activities amongst friends old and new.\n\n \n\nAs a not-for-profit organization\, Cornerstone appreciates tremendous support from the community. The agency is frequently in need of supplies for its many programs--including a robust art studio and gift cards for community activities that individuals who receive services can enjoy together\, such as movie theatres and restaurants. Cornerstone maintains an Amazon Wish List\, where supporters can purchase supplies and gift cards that will be shipped directly to the agency and quickly put to good use.\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nThe CWW is making a huge impact in the local community with our generous donations to helping others.\n\nThank you!
