DESCRIPTION:The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry and it's Education Committee present an exciting and innovative student project which brings their ideas to life using "Shark Tank" style presentations. Students have already developed innovative ideas for products\, projects\, or services can enhance the overall quality of their school and/or experience of students while at school.\n\n\n\nThis innovation competition features a project-based learning challenge that incorporates critical thinking\, creativity\, collaboration\, and communication. Students will demonstrate the skills through developing an innovative project with a team and utilizing persuasive techniques in preparing a pitch for the innovation.\n\n\n\nA Shark Panel will review and evaluate the final 3 presentations on Monday\, November 13. The program winner will receive $3000 to complete their project idea at their school. The winning group will also receive a pizza and prize party!
