About Us

D-BAT Joliet, part of more than 200 D-BAT franchisees, is opening its doors as a new home for baseball, softball, and community connection in Joliet. Spouses Edith and Jaime Murillo combined their love of the game with a shared vision to create a space where families and athletes of all ages could learn, grow, and enjoy the sport they love.
They invited four partners to join them in this journey: spouses Eva and Miguel Yniguez, and life partners Lucia Murillo and Patrick Dillon. Together, this team brings a mix of professional experience, cultural pride, and a real understanding of the time, effort, and heart families put into youth sports. Their ownership reflects 50% women leadership, majority Mexican-American heritage, and a strong commitment to inclusion and community. Se habla Español.
