DESCRIPTION:Virtual Conference Series\n\nMeet the Candidates\n\n\n\nPlease join the Joliet Chamber for a Candidate Forum on Thursday\, October 22nd at 3:00 p.m.  We have invited 12 candidates and all have confirmed their participation.  Each will receive 5 minutes to talk about themselves\, their interest and reason for running for office\, what they plan to do once elected and any additional information important to their race.\n\n\n\nThis is not intended to be a debate\, rather a get-to-know the candidates session.  We will not be asking questions due to the time and platform.  All candidates have been asked to refrain from negative remarks regarding their opponent and inform the voters (chamber members) what he or she can offer if elected. \n\n\n\nThose that have agreed to participate are:\n\n	 US Congress District 11: Bill Foster and Rick Laib\n	Illinois Senate District 43: Ben Bierly and John Connor\n	Illinois Senate District 49: Meg Cappel and Tom McCullagh\n	Illinois House District 37: Michelle Fadeley and Tim Ozinga\n	Illinois House District 97: Mark Batinick and Harry Benton\n	Will County Executive: Nick Ficarello and Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant
