SUMMARY:2021 CWW Lunch June 3rd: "Giving Back" w/ Tom Grotovsky\, Owner\, The Great American Bagel
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Council for Working Women for our June Luncheon\n\n hosted at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate Gathering Room\n\non Thursday\, June 3rd \n\nThis month's topic will be\n\n"Giving Back"\n\nfeaturing\n\nTom Grotovsky\, owner of The Great American Bagel\n\nand The Unforgettable Chef\n\n \n\nThere are so many people in our own community who are struggling each day. If we can reach out to one individual each day\, we have an opportunity to change one life at a time. One single act of kindness can change the world one small step at a time.\n\n \n\nTom owns ZT Enterprises\, Inc. which consists of The Unforgettable Chef and The Great American Bagel\, 1101 Essington Rd. Joliet. Although owning the Great American Bagel for the past 7 years has been the most challenging thing to ever happen in his life\, it also has given him the opportunity to share food with the homeless and incarcerated. We give away all leftover food on a daily basis. An average of $300.00 per day goes back into the community. We are proud to support our less fortunate community members.\n\n\n\nTom Grotovsky was born at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet and raised in Mokena. He still lives in the same neighborhood. At the age of 17\, his mother passed away in her sleep so he was raised by his father. He has 3 siblings and one son\, Zach. Zach and his wife Liza had their first child on March\, 22\, 2021.\n\n\n\n\n\n*This quarter we are giving back to Guardian Angel Community Services. If you would like to participate\, you can bring items to the luncheon\n\nHere is their updated wish list:\n\n\n\nLADIES T-SHIRTS SIZE SMALL - 3XL\n\nLADIES LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS SIZE SMALL-3XL\n\nDISINFECTANT WIPES/HAND WIPES\n\nPAPER TOWELS\n\nMOPS/BROOMS/DUSTERS\n\nH.E. LAUNDRY DETERGENT POWDER\n\nSMALL KITCHEN APPLIANCES (Toasters/Hand Mixers/etc.)\n\nGAS STATION GIFT CARDS\n\n\n\nThe CWW is making a huge impact in the local community with our generous donations to helping others.\n\nThank you!
