2017 Springfield Drive-Down May 9-10th
The Joliet Region Chamber, along with the Legislative Committee, invites you to attend the Springfield Drive-Down on May 9th. Our Drive-Down will begin with a luncheon, followed by a briefing, legislative meetings, reception and dinner.
Preliminary Agenda
- Meet at Maldaner's Restaurant (222 S. 6th Street) at 11:00 a.m. for Lunch (lunch begins at 11:30)
- Briefing at 12:00 noon (Maldaner's Restaurant)
- Legislative Activities (tba)
- Reception with Legislators at 5:30 p.m. , Sangamo Club (227 East Adams Street)
- Dinner with Legislators at 6:30 p.m. (Sangamo Club)
Items to be covered include: Budget, Transportation, Tax Issues, Education, Healthcare, Pensions, Workers' Comp.

Location
The Legislative Committee has decided to stay downtown. The two hotels available are Wyndham City Center, 700 East Adams (217) 789-1530, and Abraham Lincoln Hotel, 701 East Adams (217) 544-8800.
We are not asking for a block, as Expedia prices are the same.
Fees/Admission
$135 per person. Cost includes lunch, reception & dinner. THE COST DOES NOT INCLUDE YOUR HOTEL ROOM. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR OWN HOTEL RESERVATIONS.
