Emotions are to the mind what the nervous system is to the body. It alerts us when something is out of balance or desperately wrong. Our emotions serve much the same function even if it is a bit confusing and misinterpreted, understanding the core belief behind each of our five emotions can help us in all our relationships. From our families to our coworkers we are able to better navigate and support them through all sorts of challenges and at the same time provide ourselves with the support we need when feeling overwhelmed.
