2021 CWW Lunch April 1, 2021 "Employment Law at the End of The Pandemic"
Please join the Council for Working Women in person for our
CWW Luncheon hosted at Jacob Henry Mansion Gathering Room on Thursday, April 1st.
This month's topic will be "Employment Law at the End of The Pandemic" featuring our guest Attorney Seth Matus.
Attorney Seth Matus will discuss laws employers need to remember in addressing COVID-related situations and the new initiative to eliminate employer liability for COVID cases. Learn about other issues employers are now facing (i.e., can an employer force employees to be vaccinated, how to handle employees who refuse to wear masks, etc.) and the way the workplace will be different after the end of the pandemic (and the likely legal issues that may arise).
We are able to safely social distance.
Seth Matus is a labor and employment attorney who operates a solo practice in Naperville primarily representing employers. For more than twenty years, Seth has addressed dozens of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation complaints, class action overtime suits, unfair labor practice claims and disputes about restrictive covenants. Seth works with businesses, executives and human resources personnel to craft workplace policies, procedures and practices designed to ensure compliance with the law without sacrificing the employer’s goals and objectives. A significant part of Seth’s practice involves using his extensive experience to help employers find effective strategies to resolve difficult workplace issues or to develop creative employment initiatives. Seth has been certified as an information privacy professional by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
