Please join us as ​Vice President and General Manager of Hollywood Casino Joliet Ruben Warren elaborate on the economic impact from when their new property first entered the area and what the future holds now. About the Speaker: 
With a robust career spanning over three decades in the gaming industry, Ruben has established himself as a pivotal figure as a Casino Executive. Before his tenure at Penn, Ruben honed his financial acumen as a Finance Executive with several gaming companies in Nevada and Indiana. His journey with Penn began in 2016, where he excelled as CFO, overseeing finance operations across multiple properties. His strategic vision and leadership skills soon led him to roles as Assistant General Manager and most recently General Manager where he opened Hollywood Casino York in August 2021.

Ruben's dedication extends beyond the casino floor; he is deeply committed to community service. As current Board Co-Chair for York County Economic Alliance in York PA and an advisory board member for the Mayor Wanda Williams in Harrisburg PA, he leverages his expertise to make a meaningful impact to local communities. His passion for team development, strategic business planning, and community engagement are hallmarks of his professional ethos.

A native of Las Vegas, he is an alumnus of UNLV where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and he attained his MBA at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Outside the corporate environment, Ruben is an avid outdoors person, finding solace and joy in golfing, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and hunting. Alongside his wife, he cherishes the company of their two adult children and family in Las Vegas, embodying the balance between a demanding career and a fulfilling personal life.
