
Breakfast with Santa and Elf Workshop
Santa and his elves are coming to CDS!
JOLIET – The Center for Disability Services (CDS) announces “Breakfast with Santa and Elf Workshop” for those looking for a hearty breakfast and great home-crafted gift ideas and specialty items for the Holiday Season. The event supports individuals with developmental disabilities.
The tinsel-filled event takes place Sunday, Dec. 8 at Center for Disability Services, 311 S. Reed St., Joliet.
Guests will enjoy a hearty pancake and sausage or biscuits and gravy breakfast from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by “Friends of CDS” and Big Apple Restaurant in Joliet. Breakfast includes coffee, hot chocolate, milk, or juice.
Reservations are encouraged, but not required. Adults are $8.00, Children $5.00.
The Elf Workshop of hand-crafted gifts begins at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at 1:00 p.m. Specialty vendors are Tupperware, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Paparazzi, Origami Owl, Keep Collective, and many more!
The Center for Disability Services, formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Illinois Prairieland, is located in Joliet and has served children and adults with cognitive and physical disabilities in Will and surrounding counties for more than 60 years. CDS is pleased to be a non-profit partnering agency with the United Way of Will and Grundy Counties.
