We Count 2020 Census Campaign Kick-Off (Todos Contamos 2020)

The 2020 Census is coming soon. Will you and your community count? Or will you be missing?

If we are in the streets, and on the news, and even in the polling booth, but not in the Census, we will find the things that we need are still missing. This is the time to get involved. The Census counts. So do you.

If our community isn’t fully counted in the 2020 Census, we will miss out on political representation, on money for our children’s classrooms, on jobs and health care centers for the next 10 years.

The Spanish Community Center is committed to focus efforts on Joliet and Crest Hill's 8 Hard to Count (HTC) tracts within Will County.

We are inviting members across public and private sectors to raise awareness of the importance of getting a complete count for the upcoming 2020 U.S. Census survey. We invite leaders in the community to attend and "sign the pledge" to be counted and participate in the Complete Count Committee for the city of Joliet and Crest Hill.

El Censo 2020 llegará pronto. ¿Contarán usted y su comunidad? ¿O te perderás?

Si estamos en las calles, y en las noticias, e incluso en la cabina de votación, pero no en el Censo, encontraremos las cosas que necesitamos todavía faltan. Este es el momento de involucrarse. El censo cuenta. Tú también.

Si nuestra comunidad no se cuenta por completo en el Censo 2020, nos perderemos la representación política, el dinero para las escuelas de nuestros hijos, el empleo y los centros de atención médica durante los próximos 10 años.

El Centro Español de Joliet está comprometido a enfocar los esfuerzos en los 8 sectores difíciles de contar (HTC) de Joliet y Crest Hill dentro del condado de Will.

Invitamos a los miembros de los sectores públicos y privados a crear conciencia sobre la importancia de obtener un conteo completo para la próxima encuesta del Censo de EE. UU. 2020.
