About the Speaker: 
Kristen is a native Hoosier, growing up in Northwest Indiana and then attending Butler University.  At Butler, she pursued a passion of traveling and studied abroad; exploring Spain and multiple European countries. While at Butler, she interned with several non-profit organizations, including the Make-A-Wish-Foundation of Indiana. She received degrees in Marketing and Spanish and began her career in the non-profit sector before pursuing another passion:  hairdressing. After several years in the service industry she entered the casino world at Ameristar East Chicago.  12 years and multiple roles later, she transferred to Hollywood Casino Joliet as the Director of Marketing where she has been for 2 1/2 years working to bring the new Hollywood to life.
