Marketing Rep for the IL Welding School

  • Demonstrate success in registering prospective students for a rewarding career in welding.  This success will come through finding prospective students at Career Fairs, job fairs, high schools, and anywhere there are students interested in welding.  The prospective students will be able to make a quality decision because of the skill set utilized in explaining welding courses, welding job opportunities, and benefits of attending the IL Welding School. All through phone contacts, website inquires, marketing strategies, and any other venues to get the word out about the school.  The success rate will be monitored through weekly reports, keeping track of phone calls, and strategies for having a set number of new starts each month.  If the new monthly students number is met, a commission, over the hourly wage will be encouraged.
  • Ability to work Goggle Drive and Mac Computers; and office duties as needed for the position.
The qualified applicant must be enthusiastic about assisting students to make their lives better; have outstanding persistence in contacting prospective students, employers, and educational resources; an outstanding willingness to be a team player with creative ways to make the IL Welding School - a school of excellence.

Additional Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Rep for an educational institution and/or corporate setting, recruiting of students, and walking them through the entire enrollment process.
  • Must be open to understanding the basic welding terms in our programs for the trades.
  • Outstanding and phenomenal customer service skills are a must.
  • Excellent computer skills are required. 

Salary: Hourly pay rate dependent upon experience, starting at $18+, plus a commission for monthly goals that are met.
