HOLLYWOOD CASINO JOLIET CELEBRATES GROUNDBREAKING AT ROCKRUN COLLECTION
(Peoria, IL – December 19, 2023) – Cullinan Properties is pleased to announce that Hollywood Casino Joliet hosted a milestone groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Local, regional, state, labor and community stakeholders enjoyed a beautiful day of celebration at RockRun Collection. The $185 million Hollywood Casino Joliet project will anchor RockRun Collection, an under-construction super-regional destination development in Metro Chicago/Will County, IL.
The entirely land-based casino will feature approximately 850 slots and 44 live table games, including a baccarat room, a retail sportsbook, high quality bars and restaurants, an approximately 10,000 square foot event center with meeting areas, and approximately 1,330 parking spaces. This state-of-the-art venue will complement other entertainment amenities at the site.

PENN Entertainment expects to create 450 construction jobs and 515 permanent jobs at Hollywood Casino Joliet.  The entirety of the 310-acre mixed-use development will include 570-multifamily apartments, 500+ hospitality rooms, over 150,000 square feet of office space, over 500,000 square feet of retail and restaurants, an outdoor amenity area and entertainment space.
